What is Anovulatory Infertility?

Anovular means not ovulating. Therefore, Anovulatory Infertility means being unable to conceive a child due to the absence of ovulating. Ovulating is what happens every month, when the ovaries release an egg. 

Symptoms: 
  • Difficulty getting pregnant
  • Irregular periods
  • No periods

Causes: 
  • Anovulatory Infertility is caused by the ovaries not releasing an egg every month
  • Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome
  • Thyroid issues (hyperthyroidism)
