Your baby:
  • Brain, heart, and lungs are forming
  • Placenta is providing food and oxygen to baby
  • Ears, ankles. wrists, fingers, and toes are formed
  • Eyelids are also formed, but sealed shut

Your Body:
  • Breasts growing and are sore
  • May have to use the bathroom more often
  • Morning sickness (eat smaller meals to help)
  • Tired
  • Producing more blood

What you can do:
  • First prenatal checkup
  • Vitamins (folic acid)
  • Refrain from indulging in non-food cravings
  • Pay attention to weight gain
  • Rest
